Monthly Update - June 2022

London Drugs - "partner of the pandemic" winner

It’s finally Summer! We hope that everybody is enjoying the hot weather all across BC, and we hope you’ve all been finding ways to stay cool and hydrated! Our staff are certainly thankful to be able to come to work in an air-conditioned building.

June was a busy month here at BC Tech. On June 23, we hosted our 2022 Donors Recognition event to celebrate all of our incredible donors and partners for their donations over the years. A special congratulations to our five award winners: The City of Burnaby, Metro Vancouver, Arc’teryx Equipment, Traction on Demand, and London Drugs.

We would also like to highlight a few donations that occurred in June. Thank you Kwantlen Polytechnic University for your generous donation of 53 computers and 20 laptops. Thanks to your generosity, we are able to provide some relief to those affected by the digital divide. Another special shoutout to Emily Carr University of Art + Design for their donation of 47 computers and 58 laptops.

June has marked the end of the school year for students all across BC. Now is the perfect time to donate your surplus tech if you are upgrading your devices. It takes us time to refurbish and package I.T. equipment, and we are hoping to provide many students with computers and laptops this upcoming school year.

Your Donations Matter.

See you next month.
