Monthly Update - June 2026
June came and went faster than the blink of an eye! Let’s dive right in.
In the month of June, we distributed 528 devices across British Columbia. Thanks to the volunteers who did the refurbishing and the donors who provided the devices for redistribution. To our clients, if you know of any other non-profit organizations in need of affordable technology, be sure to send them our way!
This year, we presented four awards to donors who proved their dedication to supporting technology reuse programs:
Douglas College, “Partner in Education” award;
WCG International, “Partner in Skills Development” award;
Marcon Construction, “Give Where You Live” award;
Medline Canada, “Environmental Sustainability” award.
An article will be published in Business in Vancouver in the coming weeks, highlighting our award winners and sharing more context on why each company was chosen to win an award. Stay tuned!

Along with donor awards, we presented two service awards to outgoing board Directors Peter Vogel and Lisa Bomen. Thank you, Peter and Lisa, for lending your expertise and time to ReuseTechBC.
ReuseTechBC was featured in the Vancouver Guardian’s “Charitable Choices” series! You can read Mary-Em’s interview here. Thanks to the Vancouver Guardian for the article!
