Monthly Update - March 2025
March was an absolutely superb month and fiscal year-end for BC Tech! Not only did we hit 1058 computers distributed just in March alone, but we distributed 8030 devices this year - over 2000 more than our annual distribution goal! We could not have reached this remarkable milestone without the hard work of our incredible interns. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Speaking of our interns, we said farewell and happy trails to Hal and Ben, who successfully completed their internships on March 31. We will miss you both and your incredible work ethic, and wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavors.
Of course, we hosted our quarterly Featured Inventory Garage Sale in March, a great way to cap off our fiscal year and send our clients home with some free laptops and other goodies. Keep an eye out for our next Garage Sale in June!
All set up for our March Garage Sale!
We partnered with Coquitlam Public Library for a second successful “Computer 101” program, where we provided low-cost tech to library patrons so they can learn how to use a computer for the first time and have a device to take home. Want to extend this program to your library or literary organization? Reach out to Keely at keely[at]reusetechbc.ca with any questions or to discuss other programs you have in mind.
Thanks to all who donated tech in the month of March and FY25, including Metro Vancouver, Hosted Advantage, NTT DATA, City of Vancouver, and many federal government departments.. We couldn’t do what we do without you!
Coming up with BC Tech for Learning
To our valued donors and partners: keep an eye out for save the dates for our annual Donor Recognition Event.
We’re back at the Skills Canada BC regional competition on April 16, providing tech for select skill competitions! Will we see you there?
