Monthly Update - May 2025

Whew, May flew by! Between getting out and enjoying the sunshine, large laptop deliveries, and prepping for a busy summer, we can’t believe it’s June already. Let’s jump right into our update!

P.S.: Does anyone else just love Spring? Our office is right next to Burnaby Lake Park, and it’s such a treat to take a quick lunchtime walk and see how many goslings are out and about!

📍Burnaby Lake Park

We really experienced spring at the beginning of May by participating in the City of Burnaby’s Burnaby Blooms festival! This is a great event for championing sustainability and community. Thanks to everyone who popped by our booth to say hi and learn more about the impacts of reusing technology devices.

We attended two laptop distribution events with Surrey Firefighters Charitable Society at Johnston Heights Secondary and Fleetwood Park Secondary in Surrey. Both schools are now equipped with the tools they need to access their education, thanks to this incredible partnership.

We added a Social Media intern to our team, and we are excited to welcome Pooja, who will be with us for a year.

As always, thanks to our May donors, including Binnie, Sony Pictures Imageworks Canada, City of Vancouver, Impact North Shore, the Urban Academy Tech Drive, Smith + Andersen, Conwest Contracting, and many federal government departments.
